Greetings! Today, we take a quick tour of the seventh chakra. It’s the crown chakra, or Sahasrara. This chakra can best be described as deep peace. How do you approach deep peace? What is your relationship to this phenomenon? When your crown chakra is opened, you bring light into your body, creating this deep peace (which is also described as “universal consciousness”). This week’s chakra is ajna – the third eye. This is where you learn to trust your intuition. This is where you find the clarity and guidance to trust yourself. Is this a struggle for you? Have you ever had to say something that was really hard for you to say, and you felt this strangled feeling in your throat? Like your voice suddenly felt very small and funny and like everything in your body conspired to keep it in? Did you ever give way to that feeling and keep it in? Or is it just me? Today, we’re talking about your heart. (Your heart chakra, that is.) Your heart chakra, or anahata, is the fourth chakra and is located in the middle of your chest. It’s in the middle of your body, which makes it a perfect bridge between your lower chakras – the grounding chakras – and the more ethereal and cerebral chakras in the throat and head.
